With over 30 years in the mental health field, with 20+ of them being in private practice, Tina has worked with numerous individuals with a variety of complexities and life challenges. Through modalities such as art, play, sand tray, storytelling, and puppetry, psychotherapists create a safe space for children to express and work through their fears, worries and life challenges. All play-informed therapy is conducted and supervised by a Certified Play Therapist. Play-informed therapy is available both in-person and virtually.

Chelsea’s life journey began in Barbados before moving to Canada during her formative years.  Chelsea holds a degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in Special Education, which has been the foundation of her fulfilling career.  Over the years, Chelsea has dedicated herself to working with children with special needs, with a particular focus on autism spectrum disorder.

Throughout her professional journey, Chelsea’s role has included enriching the lives of the young minds she serves and establishing profound connections with their families.  While working within a school setting, her work went beyond the classroom to collaborate with parents and siblings.  Chelsea’s belief in a nurturing, inclusive and compassionate connection supports her practice.  Guided by her core values of empathy, patience, and insight, she consistently positively influences the lives she touches.

Tina understands the complexities of life and the importance of a work-life balance.  As a full-time Professor, researcher, Ph.D. student, wife and most importantly, mom of three teenage girls, she is constantly working on finding the perfect balance.  Tina firmly believes in doing the necessary practices that instill energy, and spiritual connection and sustains a positive attitude and ability to move through life.  Tina practices yoga, mindfulness and meditation on a regular basis, loves forest bathing and going on nature walks, and engages in creative practices such as knitting and painting.  

​Tina was drawn to the mental health field at a very young age and has been committed to the field ever since.  After committing ten years to non-profit organizations, Tina opened her private practice in 1999.  Her desire to stay in the academic and clinical fields profoundly informs both practices. 

​Tina has done her own therapeutic work to heal from past wounds while ensuring she uses her life experiences to inform her practices and life today.  Another core component of Tina’s framework when working with others is a strong relationship foundation.  Tina is a firm believer that it is with this therapeutic relationship that all effective work is done.

Informed by her training as a Waldorf educator, Bronwen understands the importance of adult-child relationships outside of the family unit for promoting social development, offering diverse role models, and creating a supportive network that nurtures a child’s holistic growth.

As a therapist-in-training, Bronwen is passionate about supporting individuals across the lifespan with things like social anxiety; attachment issues; childhood wounds; relationship challenges; significant life transitions; emotion regulation; and larger existential concerns, self-esteem, and identity questions.
